Borak Stonefist
General Description
Towering over most of his students, Borak Stonefist is an unforgettable presence within the Academy of Mornir. His broad frame bears the scars of countless battles, while intricate tattoos weave across his arms and shoulders, glowing faintly whenever the untamed magic within him begins to stir. Beneath his weathered expression lies an unexpectedly sharp mind, equally fascinated by the mysteries of the Arcana as by the discipline required to master one's body. Whether clad in armor or standing before a lecture hall with a strange magical contraption in hand, Borak embodies the belief that strength and knowledge are inseparable.
Born among the untamed frontiers beyond civilization, Borak discovered early in life that the fury driving him into battle was intertwined with an unpredictable magical gift. What others feared as a curse, he gradually learned to harness through relentless training, eventually becoming one of the few individuals capable of blending primal rage with arcane power. His travels across Hom brought him into contact with forgotten ruins, ancient relics, and magical phenomena few scholars had ever witnessed, earning him a reputation as both an explorer and an unconventional researcher.
Today, Borak serves as the Loremaster of Physical and Arcane Studies at the Academy of Mornir, where he teaches that true mastery comes from embracing every aspect of oneself—including chaos. His lessons are rarely confined to classrooms, often forcing students to solve magical problems while exhausted, under pressure, or in the middle of combat exercises. Though his methods are demanding, his students quickly learn that Borak's greatest lesson is not how to avoid losing control—but how to survive when control is impossible.
Despite his intimidating appearance and booming voice, Borak possesses remarkable patience for those willing to learn. He has little respect for rigid dogma or tradition, believing that discovery belongs to those brave enough to experiment, fail, and try again. Among the Academy's faculty, he is regarded as one of its most unpredictable teachers—and one of its most respected. Many of Mornir's finest adventurers credit their survival not to the spells they learned, but to the resilience Borak taught them when everything inevitably went wrong.
